The Design and Optimization of Swing Automatic Paper Folding Mechanism

In order to solve the multi-directional bending problem of paper cards with different specifications, a swing type automatic folding mechanism was designed. Through gear rack and rocker slider mechanism, card can be folded vertically horizontally for many times. The MATLAB optimization function library is used optimize rocker, connecting rod, angle other size parameters block determined 15 degrees. motion equation process solved by vector coordinate transformation, kinematics simulation carried out plug-in SolidWorks. results show that meet requirements waist seal, are consistent calculation parameters.
